Required Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Police Science, Justice Studies, Public Administration or a related field, with at least twelve (12) years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer, including at least five (5) years in a command/upper management position that required the demonstration of proficiencies in performing the duties listed above; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Master’s Degree preferred.
